What is the Best Internal Retail Display Award?

Dedicated, attractive, enticing displays are features shoppers look for when browsing. They are expected. What's more your effort in creating them is seen to endorse what's on display as worth attention.

This award compliments 'Best Shop Layout' by focussing on individual internal shop retail displays and merchandising.

What kinds of internal retail display count?

Any retail display within a shop is eligibleAny retail display within a shop is eligible. It could be displays of individual products or services, products/services categories, or composite displays of multiple products and services.

So an impressive and well laid out ‘wall-of-inks' would be a good entry.

A combination of items such as a laptop with bag, mouse and memory would be a good entry. Anything that really serves to showcase the products or services in question is good.

A few monitors on a shelf - less good. Boxes and boxes of PSU's - not really. This award also excludes window displays – see ‘Best Shop Window' – and anything related to the use of use of PC configurators – see ‘Best Use of PC Configurator'.

What makes a great internal retail display?

They're attractive and appealing.

They're aimed at specific customer types or groups.

They create a great first impression – possibly even a wow!

Information and pricing are clearly displayed.

There may even be a call-to-action.
