Target Components Wins Best Custom PC Builder 2025 at Northern Enterprise Awards

Target Components, the Castleford-based IT distributor, has been named Best Custom PC Builder 2025 at the Northern Enterprise Awards, recognising its expertise in bespoke PC design and its commitment to customer success.

The award highlights Target’s advanced Custom PC Builder platform, which offers more than 312 trillion possible configurations and is backed by over 12 years’ experience in building systems for a wide range of uses. These include education and business environments, gaming and security, as well as highly specialised applications such as automotive testing, agricultural monitoring and UK rail infrastructure.

Marketing Manager Scott Frankling said the recognition reflects both the company’s technical capability and its culture. Employee-owned, Target has fostered a strong sense of pride and accountability across its workforce, helping it deliver consistently high levels of service, with around 80% of new customers joining through referrals.

The Northern Enterprise Awards also noted Target’s resilience and dedication during challenging periods, including the pandemic, when the company supported thousands of organisations in transitioning to home and hybrid working.
