Target Components Celebrates Successful TechMAX 2026 as Headline Sponsor and Best Distributor Winner

Target Components has celebrated another successful TechMAX after returning as headline sponsor for the 2026 event and taking home two major honours at the Tech Awards.

The employee-owned distributor was named Best Distributor, while its specialist Target System Builds division was recognised as Best Outsource, reflecting the company's continued commitment to delivering exceptional service and expertly built systems for the UK IT channel.

Throughout the event, Target showcased a range of leading vendor partners while meeting with customers, resellers and new contacts to discuss the latest technologies and opportunities to help businesses grow.

Reflecting on the event, Marketing and Communications Manager Scott Frankling said, "TechMAX has improved every year, with more visitors, brands and reasons to attend each time. Phil and Jenni's commitment and tireless planning in delivering such a fantastic event is exemplary of how passionate and supportive the whole channel is. We're absolutely delighted to continue playing a central part in it".

The two award wins capped off an excellent day for the business. Best Distributor recognised Target's ongoing commitment to customer service and channel support, while Best Outsource celebrated the expertise of the Target System Builds team, whose custom gaming PCs and business systems are built with precision, quality and reliability.

Adding to the celebrations, Trish Smith was recognised with the Account Manager of the Year award.

The company thanked everyone who voted, as well as its customers, vendor partners and suppliers for their continued support, adding that the awards reflect the dedication and professionalism of the entire Target team.
