Target Components Powers Latest Celebrity PC Build Featuring Thomas Turgoose

A new installment of Gadget Joe’s popular Celebrity Build Series has launched, this time featuring British actor Thomas Turgoose, widely recognised for his performances in This Is England and Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The project showcases an ambitious custom PC designed for portability and performance - with all major hardware supplied by Target Components.

The concept behind the build centres on mobility. With a busy filming and travel schedule, Turgoose required a system capable of handling professional workloads and gaming on the move. The solution proposed by Gadget Joe was a high-performance PC integrated into a rugged flight case, effectively creating a “PC in a suitcase”, suitable for life on the road.

Target played a central role in enabling the project by supplying a complete ecosystem of components from its partner brands. The hardware specification includes an ASRock A520M-ITX/ac motherboard paired with an AMD Ryzen 5 Pro 5650G processor, alongside an ASRock Challenger Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card. Storage and memory were provided via ADATA XPG Gammix 2TB SSD and 32GB DDR4 RAM, while power comes from an Antec SF850X small form factor PSU. Completing the portable setup is the AOC 16G3 144Hz portable monitor.

By coordinating multiple vendor components into a single cohesive solution, Target demonstrated its capability not only as a distributor but also as a technical partner supporting creative and specialist builds. The company highlighted that projects like this reflect growing demand for compact, high-performance systems that combine durability with workstation-level capability.
